In early March, Tyler (age 6) fell on the stairs and broke his arm! Jamin, who has broken both arms before, knew immediately that Tyler’s arm was broken. We had a houseful of Tibetans, who Jamin was entertaining, when Tyler fell down. When Tamara came home from work, she took Tyler to the hospital. Two of our friends went with Tamara to help keep her company (it can often take many hours at the hospital). Fortunately, the hospital wasn’t very busy and it took less than 2 hours for Tyler to be seen, x-rayed, casted and sent home.

Tyler had to wear the cast almost 4 weeks. He recently had it taken off and seems to be doing well. The doctor told him to “take it easy” on the broken arm for a further 3 weeks in order for it to fully heal.
We are glad that Tyler’s break was clean and easy to fix!
